The Mode-S trailhead is on the east side of butte. There is trailhead parking area on the east side of I-15. This is a 3.8 mile connector that hits the CDT at mile 9.7 of segment 18. It is 9.7 miles to Homestake from there via recently developed new trail. It is all shown on BC Montana map 63.

Now I want to do the the big "crescent" thereby following the actual divide. To get from town to the trail at Homestake Pass I need transportation. Is there anyone in or near Butte providing shuttles?
