Not sure about that section specifically, however, it should be expected that any part of the CDT which experienced raging fires will have blow downs.  This winter and spring brought lots of wind. The large fire near Wolf Lake Pass comes to mind.

Might anyone know if the trail has been cleaned up approaching Grand Lake? In 2012 there was a couple of miles just south of town that required a nasty bushwhack due to recent storm blow downs. I expect it has been fixed by now.
