<html>My 2 cents: by the time you get to the Winds from either direction you should be in good enough shape to go from Togwotee to South Pass City without resupply. If the scenery in the Winds isn't enough to make you forget the weight on your back, nothing will. Skip Big Sandy Lodge. Carry an extra day or two of food and take Texas Pass into or out of the Cirque of Towers. You won't regret it.
