Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed
>
> I carried the 8.1 oz
can of Counter Assault bear spray from the Canadian
> Border to Lander,
Wyoming . . . which is where you will finally emerge
> from
>
Grizzly country for good. The Wind River Range in Wyoming represents
the
> southernmost extent of Grizzly territory on the CDT.
Unfortunately Lander
> is approximately 1,100 miles into the hike and
thatīs a long stretch to
> carry a 1/2 pound canister of bear spray . .
. but it is what it is . . .
> and Iīd do it again if I were hiking the
trail this year. Grizzlies are
> serious serious business and the
Counter Assault bear spray products have
> saved lives. It was a
pretty easy decision for me to carry one.
>
>
