Last year the trail was closed north of Cumbres Pass for blowdowns AND logging, very close to each other. There is a reasonable way through but I got lost and did a horribly slow bushwhack. <BR>
If the alternative is no longer marked, try to figure out where it is. It follows dirt roads east of the divide. <BR>
