Crazy Cook is so remote and mostly off trail that I never felt unsafe. As Jerry says there is a lack of human debris and the only folks we saw were border patrol. It is amazing where they pop-up. <BR><BR>
It is a great start or end of the hike. And I would highly recommend this route. If you can avoid roadwalks why wouldn't you? <BR> </body>
