It depends on what summer means to you and the snow year. The Nat Geo map of the area is good even for off trail area--there are times the CDT isn't marked as the primary. Once the CDT and Colorado trail (CT) merge the CT trail is the primary. <br><br>Add the knife edge to your list of must do's--Nebo was an amazing sight and I would love to go back and explore that area. <br><br>Pagosa is a great town with two parts--the upper resort area has a good outfitter (Switchback), the grocery and a Taco Bell. <br><br><br> </body>
