<div>Thanks again for all of the great work done by Jerry Brown and Crew. On the Bear Creek (see previous post) web site is info for handling his waypoints. Garmin will also let you transform waypoints into a POI file. </div>
<div><br></div><div>I have the Etrex20 and have found it to be as capable as the Montana, Colorado, Oregon and Dakota. Only it is smaller and cheaper. Using a POI file and track files, you can load the entire trail onto the Etrex30. But, Jerry Brown does have steps for loading waypoints on the fly!!!</div>

Great news! I have South Pass to Waterton left and have been anxiously
awaiting these books.
Do you know if it is possible to load the waypoints into a Etrex 30 from a
card in the field like you can with a Colorado? My hiking partner last
year reloaded in camp which was nice. The Etrex's are fairly inexpensive
compared to the Colorado.</pre></div>
