Scott and Jerry, thank you very much! The postholer web site is really cool. I've been looking at Montana with the Mapbook and the website and I'm totally sold on the Mapbook now. Never really realized how lousy the current maps of the trail are until I saw this. You can zoom in on the waypoints and actually see the trail, but the blue line is hundreds and even thousands of feet away. The waypoints really look spot on. I am beginning to consider following the official route exactly now. For one thing I would rather hike trails than roads, plus the precision of the maps is awesome. The detail of the switchbacks on Map 8 just blows me away. <br>
