We did a very similar route in '06 so that we could see different parts of Yellowstone than we saw in '99. I enjoyed creating a route of our own, despite the uncertainties.

Have a good hike.

Ginny

http://www.spiriteaglehome.com/

> From: tkconover1@yahoo.com
> Date: Fri, 16 Mar 2012 18:36:02 -0400
> To: cdt-l@backcountry.net
> CC: jnewto4@tampabay.rr.com
> Subject: [Cdt-l] Alternate Route in Montana
>
> In 03' we did an alternate route out of Yellowstone through the Lee-Metcaf area. Basically using forest service maps our town stops were Ennis, Whitehall and then rejoining Jonathan's route at McDonald Pass. Has anyone considered or done something similar. I will be hiking northbound starting April 29 from Crazy Cook.
> _______________________________________________
> Cdt-l mailing list
> Cdt-l@backcountry.net
> http://mailman.backcountry.net/mailman/listinfo/cdt-l
