<BR>I just finished the first 2 and half days from the Border on the Columbus Route. Let me say that it was an absolute pleasure. The water sources were plentiful and good. The scenery was great and the weather is warm and dry. I thought the Floridas and the Tres Hermanas were beautiful. And I have no blisters.. So all is pretty good. I just miss my family.<BR>

But I really want to thank Keith and Mary for the great service they provide for CDT hikers. It's a real good deal to connect with Keith before setting out. He knows everything about the area. He is basically "at your service" for whatever you need. A true trail angle. I would highly recomend him to anyone starting Nobo from Columbus.. Yes, I could have done it cheaper by myself and just taken the Camino Shuttle to the border but what a relief it was to have someone to talk to first, explaining the water situations and dealing with the border patrol.<BR>
