More likely just get "no service"<<<br><br>No USA roaming on ATT in the traditional sense, but you're most likely off-network when you have a signal in remote areas, and could eventually get kicked off temporarily with a warning, as I was this summer in northern New Mexico. After the first warning my phone now indicates when I'm off-network, which I suppose they'd rather avoid for PR purposes until a particular customer goes astray. Off-network is allowed, but there are data limits per month. <br><br>I was going to switch to Verizon when my indentured servant contract came up for renegotiation, but ultimately I can't justify Verizon's higher pricing just to stay connected a little more often while on a long hike.<br><br>Servile but thrifty, <br><br>-
