What does not enough minorities mean?<br>How are you defining white?<br>2013....lumping all white people together?<br><br>Just because you do not know them or see them, that doesn't mean they are not out there.<br><br>
On my CDT hike I saw every color on trail at some point. I didn't keep track because it does not matter to me what color the people on trail are.<br><br>I can see the fbook post. Today I walked x miles with a minority. We spread diversity and harmony across the galaxy.<br>

We've all noticed when we go outdoors that every white middle aged guy goes<br>
outdoors but not enough minorities.<br>

I was wondering if their have been many minority thru hikers on the CDT or<br>
Triple Crowners out there?<br>

I've met minorities on the PCT and AT but not middle aged. Young men and<br>
women from time to time but I would guess maybe 2% or so of hikers might be<br>
black and maybe 5% Asian and I can't recall meeting anyone that I<br>
understood to be Hispanic. On the AT I've met dozens if not hundreds of<br>
"urban" youth groups out for a week or so. I couldn't guess what it all<br>
means or if "minorities" think it's a big problem or what remedy might be<br>
if it is. I guess white people could stay home until minorities "catch up".<br>
