<p dir="ltr">I just heard from another hiker that the Paynes are not providing transport anymore. I consider the CC route worth it. Next time I try the CDT I will hitch as far south as I can and walk down the rest of the way if necessary. I wouldn't miss a chance to say goodbye to Sam, see the monument, Old Hachita, and the Coyote Hills again.</p>
