[pct-l] Car parking in Lee Vining

Hi,
A friend and I are going to hike (most of) the John Muir Trail starting
August 12th, from Kearsarge Pass to Tuolumne.  I am going to take buses up
from Los Angeles and he is driving down from Seattle.  We are trying to find
a place to leave his car in Lee Vining so it will be easy to access on the
way back.  Does anyone on the list know of a safe spot, or of trail angels
in the area that could offer parking?

Also, if anyone in Washington or Oregon needs a ride down to the Yosemite
area around August 9th or 10th, my friend might be able accomodate them.
