Hi -

The 2005 class DVD has been completed, and most of the 05ers are receiving 
their copies now. This video, put together by H and Whistler with photos and 
video from dozens of contributors, is a similar format to the 2004 video I 
made, and attempts to capture the 2005 long-distance PCT season as fully as 
possible, including as many people as possible in it, and for it to be a 
gift to everyone from that season, whether they finished the whole trail or 
not. So like I did for the 2004 DVD last year, I'd like to now open it up to 
those on pct-l who are interested.

Last time I did this I received over 70 requests the first day, so I just 
kept making and shipping as many as it took. Unfortunately, I am more 
limited this year. I have about 70 left, but I need to save about half of 
them for the 05ers who haven't been heard from yet, and another several for 
specific people I have in mind that I'll be shipping to in the next several 
days. So that leaves about 30 copies I can send to pct-l folks.  Last year, 
the '04 DVD kept spreading when people offered to make more copies. It would 
be great if we could do something similar with this video.

So if you'd like a copy, feel free to send me your street address, and if 
you can make and ship a few yourself after you receive it, all the better. 
I'll have to stop at about 30-35 copies, so hopefully this will work out so 
everyone who wants a copy will be able to get one eventually.

I'm only able to logistically do this for another 6 days or so (I'm never in 
one place for very long), so any requests should come in as soon as 
possible.

ps - A 2006 class DVD is already in the works, and will hopefully be 
completed and distributed before the kickoff.

pps - I'm still missing addresses for several dozen '05ers, so if anyone can 
help out with that, let me know....
