Having troubles understanding how a "pirate" can get a pedicure and 
remain a "pirate" in good, so to say, standing.

"Pirate" AND pedicure = Maybe a captured and tortured pirate?

Doesn't compute.

Now, "Trail Dandy" computes.

Ten essentials -  a battery powered hair dryer, 8 emery boards also 
used as kindling and tent stakes and a Gucci eyepatch?

Yer gonna have to explain that one to me.  I'm on the verge of losing faith.
