[pct-l] PCT North Cascades - detours?

My husband and son are hiking from the Columbia to Canada.  They just 
crossed Chinook Pass.  They have heard that there are some detours in 
the North Cascades due to bridges out or lack of visibility due to 
fires in Eastern Washington.  If anyone has information on this, I 
would appreciate anything you can tell me that I can relate to them 
when I meet them at Snoqualmie in 5 or so days.
