Actually, I have a neat plan.   I am going to be hiding in the bushes just 
north of the PCT southern  terminus.  I will jump out in front of Scott when he 
is still a 100 yards  away.  I might leave some booby traps on the trail too.
 
I will hike up to the monument and claim victory for the 2006 Yo-Yo  hike.  I 
will say that I passed him in the night and he did not see  me.  I will get 
all the accolades and media coverage as he pulls  in unnoticed.
 
Say, make that 200 yards head  start.  He will be going fast after 5,300 
miles, even with a bad toe.   After all the other nine are probably going strong.  
I just thought of  something else.  It is uphill from those bushes to the 
border  monument.  Make it a 300 yards advantage.
 
Don't tell anybody about  this.  Especially women leadership types, who might 
try to foil my  plan.
