[pct-l] Cracked feet Question

I know that the following method has worked for folk that have cronic heel
cracks and that do not hike a lot (but are active). A very thickley
callused heel maybe a different matter.

Soaping and showering changes the pH of the skin(the acidity; soaps are very
basic). After showering stand in a weak solution of white vineagar (
probably about 1Tablespoon per Gallon). You can put the vineagar in a small
tub or bowl in the shower and let it fill as you shower, stand in it and
pour it over you to readjust your skin pH after the soap has been washed
off.(don't kill your skin flora by using too strong a vineagar solution).
Obviously this is a poor remedy to using strong soaps and showering
frequently, but it may help the skin a little to recover. Takes time.
