[pct-l] Great Satellite + maps

Perusing digg.com today, I found out about NASA's World Wind satellite 
image sites. Sort of like Google maps or other that have satellite 
pictures  of the earth.  General site is: 
http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/features.html

For Forest Service, etc. daily views of forest fires, go to 
http://activefiremaps.fs.fed.us/activefiremaps.php. You can select 
California or Washington-Oregon and then see a broad view of the forest 
fire situation. The maps show major roads and a little terrain but not 
the PCT. Still it is a good overview.
