We have all heard the saying that "great minds think alike" or "birds of a
feather, flock together".

I noticed in the Fall 2006 edition of the ALDHA-West Gazette newsletter a
nice article by Yogi on her research for her Continental Divide Trail guide.

In the article is a picture of her vehicle licence plate. The licence
frame says, "I'd Rather Be Thru-Hiking" and the personalized licence
says, YOGIHKR. Additionally, the article mentions that she drives a
1993 vehicle.

I drive a 1993 vehicle. My licence plate frame is the PCTA frame about
the PCT and it being 2,600 miles. My personalized licence plate says,
"Hiker". I have had this set up for many years.

This obviously means Yogi and I are in hyper synchronization, in-tune,
like people, and trail compatible -- we are soul mates.

Well, I have to tell the truth. Actually, she is a renown female long
distance hiker and author. I am a nondescript trail pirate that drives to a
trailhead. I walk around my rental car three times and then I have to be
taken to the ER for resuscitation.

You have to admit, it started out as a good story line.

Later, Switchback
The Trail Pirate
