hikers  that started at Campo.  Specifically, which portions of the trail  in
SoCal require the most water weight together with the distances  of
those areas, hiking difficulty and any other pertinent advice.   Planning to
go thru in 2007.

I'm not sure if this has been answered but all the water sources,  water 
alerts, distances and elevations are listed in the PCT databook  available through 
the PCTA.  It's probably the single most valuable guide  you'll need to hike 
the trail.
