When I reach Deep Creek, I plan on cracking an oilcan and lifting it to
Ray's spirit.

We all memorialize in our own way.

I personally like something along the lines of what the ADZ and ALDHA
folks
are working on.  I also thought that maybe at the halfway spot of the
pct
there could be a bench; plaque; a compass and backpack edged in stone;
etc.

 

We have unseasonably warm days this week (into the 70's) but our nights
into
the mid/low 30's let's us know fall is upon us. I will be hiking Lassen
Peak
tomorrow and hope for clear skies and good views. Hope you all are
enjoying
this wonderful season. :-)
