LOL...  Actually it screamed 'what am I out of my mind.'  
 
One of my biggest fears before the hike was snow bridges.  I had never  heard 
of one before when someone mentioned them on the list  and I was  immediately 
petrified (look it up in the archives).  The people that caught  up to me had 
maps and had crossed the creek before and were also afraid, but  atleast they 
had some idea of where we were going.  
 
Today, I have no idea how wide or how fast the water was underneath,  but I 
could hear it at the time and it scared the shirt out of me.  I still  don't 
trust the things to hold my weight but at times there are no  alternatives.
