[pct-l] Pinnacle Fire and PCT

HIked most of the PCT from Devils Hole to the Mojave Dam on a SAR mission and I have GOOD news.  The Pinnacle fire rarely reached the PCT and hardly ever even reached Deep Creek.  The fire was a "healthy" fire and eliminated alot of the thick brush but went through quickly so patches of vegetation was left.  Presently there are few erosion issues and only a few down trees.  This winter and spring will have its toil on the trail but only slightly more than normal.  It apparently was not a really HOT FIRE like the Mallard fire that made everything look like a moonscape.
