When it comes to the PCT, I have always thought of the grandeur and
adventure of the trail. Each new hiking day of adventures and discoveries. The
outdoor living routine, which reaches back to touch our ancestors.

Now you people are beginning to scare me. I understand the mutant giant 14
foot tall bears and saber tooth mountain lions that have eaten hiker food to
evolve into their present state. Then they sample a few thru hikers each
season. Picking off a few to satisfy their monster appetites. No big deal. It
is the cost of doing business. But hikers in kilts? This is cruel to
Mother Nature and other hikers. This is nasty and beyond the bounds of civilized
behavior.

I hope this trend goes away and we get back to simple pirate raids,
ambushes, pillaging, and sacking. In other words, we get back to the good old days
that we all know and love.

Thank you for your attention and consideration in this matter.

A Concerned Hiker
