.Perhaps a loin cloth, or loin clout (sp) as I believe they were also called.  Worn by the plains Indians it seems to cover the most strategic parts from the front and maybe sides to an extent, tho I'm not sure about the back.  Bending over might still leave you open to remarks, criticism and target practice.  Loin cloths were often decorated , they were at least at first made of leather.  Perhaps if you had one, you could unleash your creative self.
