Here it is another sleepless night....giving me the opportunity to convey my
infinite
backpacking knowledge to the less knowledgeable.

Trekker4 & Switchback, forget the ''Syncpack''.......BAD DESIGN.
I have been experimenting with front load packs for quiet a while, as a
matter of fact on my JMT fast-packs I use a home made front
loader that disperses about 25% of the weight to the hip-belt,
25% to the front and about 50% to the back.
The problem with the ''Syncpack'' is the size and location of the front pack
will obstruct your view of your feet and that, my friends, can be a
big problem if you can not see were you are stepping on the trail.
I have never seen the ''Syncpack'', but I have experimented enough with
front loaders
to tell from the picture it will obstruct you
view.......some...aaahhh...well developed
women or guys with big beer bellies also can have that problem.
