Unless you are suicidal or don't value your life I would not trust my life
on the ''Wippet'' hiking
pole self arrest devise......I mean, do you really expect this ''Gizmo'' to
be sturdy enough to
arrest you if you are in a ''slide-for-life free slide'' down a steep slope?
Ski & hiking poles are not build for sturdiness....they bend and break all
the time.
Would you trust your life on that?.....they might be OK for none life
threatening self arrest
on gentle slopes.

You might be getting old and not value your remaining time very much.....but
us younger folks
still have a lot to live for and value our life more than that.......just
make sure you have a fully
executed will with a appointed executor so your loved once are not burdened
with the expense of probate.
