[pct-l] Planning from overseas

Most of the hikers that make it up here do anywhere from a year to two years
planning and learning everything they can about the trail, the gear,
resupply locations, what kind of food would be best for them, what kind of
stove and fuel that would best suit their needs. Most of the hikers have
studied their maps and talked to a huge amount of past hikers about their
experiences. And then there's a very few that think it's going to be a walk
in the park and don't do enough investigating. A lot of hikers that leave
Mexico don't make it up to Washington State. For whatever reasons. The more
you know about what's ahead of you and where you're going........the more
enjoyable your hike will be.
Just my humble opinion................
