BRICK,
The JMT in 7 days in 1990 before ultra light gear?
That is amazing, I take my hat off to you.
I did my first JMT in 1996 with the Scouts in 21 days hauling a 85 lb pack.
Back then 21 - 30 days was the average time for the JMT.
I never met anybody that did the JMT in 7 days until the recent years
after the ultra light revolution was in full bloom.
Did you go North or South, supported or unsupported and what was your
pack weight?
This is very interesting, I would like to know more about your JMT trek.
Have you done it since 1990?
This could have potentially been a record back in 1990.

AMAZING!!!

I also made most of my own gear because it is lighter and meets my need
better than the commercial gear.
