 Yep- us outliers have to "stick together"........wait a minute........that doesn't make statistical sense.  Outliers don't "stick" to anything!  That's why they're outliers!

Roger on the TV thing.  You can buy boxes that will make them HDTV compatible.  Wouldn't want to miss any of those all-inspiring and educational programs........

So, on this fine frozen Michigan Sunday, I'd like to take a survey on what everyone has hanging in their office/ favorite room that is hiking related.  I'll go first:
-A picture of Billy Goat
-A picture of Kelly on the Southern Terminus monument  (Deems' dog)
-A picture of Reinhold in plaid shorts (Are these a Goodwill purchase?)
    (Don't let this go to your head.....I'm no stalker...just a deviant hiker)
-A picture of Weston the Pedestrian  (Look him up!  Famous old walker- out doin' it before any of us were even thought of!)  (Well, except for Reinhold  who was around back then).
-A picture of Ed Abbey and his quote, "Benedicto".
-A poster size picture of me on Mt. Katahdin
-The poster, "End of the Journey"....(some guy on Mt. Katahdin)
-My official membership card to the "Traveling Garveys"
-My certificate from the ATC
-My certificate from the hike across the Mackinaw Bridge this year
-A picture of Bonzo's back, with a huge tattoo of the entire AT  ( I have no idea who Bonzo is).
-A picture of me, my sister-in-law, my neice, her friend and my foster daugther all bundled up on a snowy and blustery day- heading out for a hike in Michigan.
-The lighthouse on Beaver Island.  Not strictly hiking-related, but a beautiful spot.
-Walt Whitman's quote, "Afoot and light-hearted I take to the open road......."
-A map of the the PCT
-A PCT decal

Thats about it.  To be added today:  A picture of Switchback and maybe Brick. 
Why?  All of you help so much to keep me  inspired for my thru next year!!  Putting a face with the riotous postings from all of you is a huge help for me!  Oh!  And I'll add Yogi and Gottago too.  You guys rock!!

concerned because the way I understand it in 2009 when TV sets must be 
HDTV compatible,
Cox Cable, our local Cable TV provider, will provide cable boxes that 
will make the HD signals compatible with your none compatible TV.
Don't buy new televisions just yet.
