it sounds to me like the Bearikade rental program is good for a thru
hike: the URsack can be carried and the other one can be squeezed
until the lid pops off (?)

bearikade seems/looks good.

is bear mace a totally stupid and insane and potentially dangerous
idea? do people carry that on the PCT?

i am now off to a traditional Kölsch Brauhaus. Gaffel is the name of
the Kölsch. does anyone know what i mean?

i will explain at the Kick-Off....
