[pct-l] Hiking in a Sport Kilt?

Troll and Oblivious made it in sport kilts, and (much to Joe Anderson's disappointment) found that he had to wear something underneath to stop the chaffing. 

Hitching as a father/son pair might be easier anyway. If you're that worried I'd spend more time on getting the rest of your outfit looking good, tidy your hair, shave every few weeks, look nice rather than the normal hikertrash look that is a badge of honour on the trail but may scare away the little-old-ladies that would otherwise let you ride in their cars.
