[pct-l] Water Caches

Tired, thirsty, hot hikers will most likely take the path of least
resistance: use the closest cache at the expense of their autonomy.

Cache maintainers get a 'feel good' for doing their deed, not necessarily
improving the quality of anothers journey. All they've done is create
dependence and possibly control. Maybe it's about control? Hmm...

This vicious circle that feeds itself is what bothers me most; actions that
pander to someone at a weak moment, so they can 'feel good' about
themselves.

And of course the justified, self-inflicted guilt a hiker may feel for
succombing to their own weakness...

I know, I know, just walk on by....
