That is great news because I'm headed for the Sierra next weekend for a 
week of skiing at Mammoth, by Banner & Ritter along the JMT.
Two weeks ago, when I skied Mammoth, it dumped about 40 inches over a 
period of 4-5 days....there was plenty of snow in the Sierra even then.
