45 years ago my Dad taught me how to crawl up to about five feet from the water on the Lyell Fork, and just drop the fly over the edge of the bank. Got a hit almost every time. WE would start crawling about 50' from the stream. Really slow, and really quiet... That's a unique little trout stream... Jeff, just Jeff...
