I heard someone say the Green Tortoise in Seattle is infested with drug users. Is it a crackhaus or opium den?

Hostelling International-Seattle facility in the Pike Place Market, you
need to make other plans. The landlord is refusing to renew the lease
and will convert the place into apartments (typical of the Seattle real
estate market). Here is a link to the story in the local newspaper

There is still the downtown alternative hostel, the Green Tortoise
Hostel, at 105 Pike Street, for those looking for low-cost lodging at a
fantastic location. Here is a link to their Web site:

PCTA Trail Fest is March 23-25 at the Mountaineers Building, 300 Third
Ave. W., north of downtown in the Queen Anne neighborhood.
