[pct-l] French Speaking Hiker Help Needed ASAP

I can't say I speak French, but one phrase does come to mind. Attempting the Sierra this time of the year, esp. w/o mountaineering experience?

I don't know how dead set they are on hiking the PCT vs. hiking  a whole trail, but the AT is doable this time of the year. A Greyhound bus ticket should be within their budget. Better than waiting until June to start hiking again.
