There was a fellow I ran into last year, in a group of about six (all of 
whom liked patchouli), who still had a guitar strapped to his back.  This 
was just North of Howlock Mountain.

It wasn't a full-sized guitar, but it was a guitar.  He looked to have a 
fairly light pack, so perhaps one of his mates helped him carry some of his 
other load.
