It is a good thing that you are unlikely to meet any native Americans in the

-------------------------
My understanding is that the word is spreading across the reservations. I
expect a big crowd down there. Though I have to admit that I am having some
regrets and pains of conscience. After all, these are my pals and hiking
partners. So, it is a contest between Ying and Yang, between Good and Evil, and
between a quick profit or respectability and my reputation in the trail
community.

Then I think, what reputation? Who cares? When I see all those horses,
blankets piled up, and the turquoise jewelry shinning in the canyon sun, I might
cave in and auction off the guys too. I make a quick get-away up the Bright
Angel Trail to the South Rim with my loot. In Las Vegas I can make a
fortune selling off the horses to the equestrians and the blankets and jewelry to
tourist. I could buy all new hiking gear.

I would make so much money I could have pack trains support me for a PCT
thru hike all the way from Mexico to Canada. No problem.

Now I see some of you are now interested in getting in on this scam. I knew
you would come around if the rewards were great enough and you saw something
in it for yourself, like a fully supported PCT thru hike.
