[pct-l] (OT) CCTG in Etna called a scam. whoa.

"Unsavory" is putting it very mildly...  Sure doesn't 'sound' like it's website presents CCTG (<http://www.cctg.org/>)...
I find it disgusting (and that is too mild, also) that compassionate, caring, and giving people are being
taken advantage of with the lies - i.e., false advertising - without any of the purported benefits to the disadvantaged...  

I had never planned on stopping at CCTG (and won't now for sure; I'll camp in the park first!) - but
rather the Hiker Hut or the motel (which I heard had some 'unpleasant' PCT guests in 2006 - I'll
inquire when I visit Etna this summer) or my son's place in Sawyers Bar (15 miles W of Etna Summit)...

It's things like this scam that make me want to be out on the trail 'away from it all' even more...
