Just to expand on this.  When you purchase service from PocketMail
you may send/receive email from your PocketMail device but you can
*also* send/receive email via a regular web page just like HotMail,
Yahoo, or GMail.

The advantage of the PocketMail device is you don't have to go
searching for public Internet service in trail towns.  Library
hours can be a bit scarce in smaller towns.
