[pct-l] Ramona Falls-Lolo Pass - Timberline Lodge

Getting to Timberline Lodge. If you can't get a ride, there is public
transportation to Gresham (MAX) and a bus from there to Sandy (it used to be
free). From Sandy, you should be able to hitch to Government Camp - and
hitch up to Timberline. You will put on extra miles to Lolo Pass; but, at
least a good part of it is down hill to the Sandy River.

2nd-hand information from portlandhikers:  The PCT in
that area had to be flagged around various blowdowns
and washouts, but there was a trail crew out 2
weekends ago with chainsaws etc. to do clearing.  No
word on how they did.  

I'll be up there in another couple of weeks, so i'll
try to post conditions on here as soon as i
can...hopefully soon enough to be useful to most of
the pack.

p.s.  i'm broadening my plea for a ride or
transportation ideas to include Timberline Lodge too.
I need to go on 8/6.   If i can't get a ride to Lolo
Pass then i'll tack on some extra miles and start from
 Timberline instead, and still be grateful!
