Trailways runs a bus from Seattle (via Everett) to Wenatchee and points
East.
The route is over Stevens Pass and you are allowed to buy a ticket just to
the pass
and the driver will stop and drop you and your pack off at the Summit.

By knowing the schedule in advance you can also flag down the bus at the
summit
in either direction and board it, IF you have the correct change CASH for
the fare.

This schedule was twice daily over the pass last summer. Check the link
below for
current schedules and fares, summer schedules may be different.

By the way, this bus stops in Leavenworth ( close to Alpine Lakes trail
heads ) and
you can connect to the Link Transit bus from there to go to Lake Wenatchee
Village ( at
least get close to White River and Chiwawa River trailheads. Hitching would
be easier
from there).

Continuing to Wenatchee, you can transfer at Columbia Terminal to the Link
Transit
route to Chelan and get off at the stop in front of the Lady of the Lake
ferry dock
( to Lucerne, Prince Cr, Stehekin ect.).
