? The following is a water update from mile 255.9 to 418.5, with dates I visited the source:
??255.9 - Arrastre Trail Camp, creek flowing .1 past camp, June 15
? Small (2-3 gallons) caches on both sides of Highway 18
? 267.8 - Doble Trail Camp, flowing from pipe into trough June 16
? 274.1 - Caribou Creek, flowing OK, June 17?
? 284.6 - Little Bear Springs Trail Camp, faucet on June 17
? 284.9 through 293.1 - Holcomb Creek and tributaries running fine June 17
? 297.2 to 312.1 - Deep Creek running well June 18
? 313.2 -?Moose and BJ cache, 4-5 gallons on June 19
? 315.2 - Trailside spring, didn't see it, probably dry
? 317. - Piped spring - good June 19
? 317. - Grass Valley Creek, dry
? 332.8 - Small stream still running June 20
? 341.7 - Crowder Canyon,?small flow?at trail crossing June 21
? 347.9 - trailratz cache, 4-5 gallons on June 22
? 364.6 - Guffy Camp, flowing well (side trail 50 yards before camp is obvious and leads right to spring) June 23
? 375.7 - Lamel Spring,?clear and cold small puddle, must scoop June 24
? 383.8 - Little Jimmy Spring, good June 25
? On detour - ?Buckhorn Campground, water from spigots, creek through campground is dry (from beginning of detour, walk about 2.5 miles on Highway 2. When you see sign "Buckhorn?entrance 1 mile," about 100 yards after that, just past a hairpin turn,?a paved road with a gate leads to the campground)
? 410.6 - Fiddleneck Spring, very low, nearly impossible to get water, June 27
? 411.1 - Fountainhead Spring, flowing, clean and cold, need to scoop, June 27
? 418.5 - Mill Creek Summit, faucets off, several gallons of drinking water on porch of ranger station, located .1 from Angeles Forest Highway?on paved road leading to PCT trailhead parking, June 28
