[pct-l] Class of 2007...

Hi there, I've been on the list for about six months and I'm also on the
Yahoo list.so you can imagine how many mailings I get a day!  Anyway, I'm
really excited to attempt a thru-hike of the PCT this year.  I think I've
done a pretty good job at being prepared (even though, I'm jumping into the
deep end because my heart called,) and, I'm attending the KO not so much to
get a bunch of info but more so to meet other hikers.  I'm technically a
solo female hiker and I'm hope to bond with others and during tough times
remind me that I'm not alone.

 

Enough of that, a couple of questions, I'm going to be using a jet boil and
I was wondering if anyone has used one during a thru-hike and was there any
difficulty mailing fuel canisters? 

 

Second question, I just received the Tarptent Contrail and haven't really
had a chance to use it, however, I was curious to find out it's durability
in extreme wind and rain storms?
