Yep, being a Trail Angel of any kind, size or age regardless as to your
"gifts", is just as big of a blessing for the givers (maybe more) as for the
receivers.

-----------------------------------------------
Say, I don't want this pie thing to be taken the wrong way. I am a rough
tough trail pirate. I sack and pillage pie and dessert shops in Julian. My
motto is, "He who dies with the most pies, wins." I am known as the "Julian
Scourge". Shop keepers board up their businesses when they hear I am coming to
town. Women and children are not allowed on the streets. Dessert shops
have to pay me tribute, so they do not get my personal attention.

If I happen to have a few stale pies left over from my rampage, then I leave
them at the Pioneer Mail campground for PCT hikers. I feel sorry for them
as they drag in to refill their depleted water bottles. I should "pie bag"
the desserts in trees, so they are just out of reach. Then hikers can only
look and smell the pies and tarts, but cannot get to them. I might do that.

Besides, I don't like the word "angel" being associated with "trial pirate".
