Best read about bears in Alaska I have come across is
Bear Man of Admiralty Island.  Reminds me of my days
being raised in a bear den in Alaska.  Another good
book about how natives in the interior relate to bears
is Make Prayers to the Raven.  Hands down the best
book I have read on the Koyukon.
